HONDA ST-1300 DASH SHELF

This shelf has been very popular with police departments using the ST-1300, and many LD riders, including the '05 IBR winner. Drawing on the experience of designing and manufacturing the Concours dash shelf, I have incorporated the unique features of that product into this Honda shelf. Perfect for mounting your GPS, satellite radio, or radar detector in the ideal "heads up" location. The shape facing the rider conforms to the shape of the motorcycle's dash to look as "Factory" as possible. Road testing has confirmed that the low pressure area behind the windshield is not altered. "Branding" of the dash cowling is also eliminated by the shelf. The shelf will not interfere with the full up and down travel of the electric windshield of any year ST-1300. This shelf will not fit the 2003, non ABS model with the manual windshield.

The shelf is constructed of 16 gauge, cold rolled steel. It is finished in beautiful, satin black, powdercoat for lifetime good looks. All hardware is furnished and is stainless steel in metric sizing. It is rock solid as it ties into the ST's windshield channels rather than the plastic dash cowling. No other external braces are required.

The shelf will not interfere with the use of Genmar risers, J&M or Honda/Clarion CB radio, the Factory AM/FM radio, or the Show Chrome, three (3) accessory switch housing that replaces either fluid reservoir top. Using the RAM mount with the standard length or short "dogbone" the shelf will accommodate most any GPS. Unlike units that only position a single RAM ball over the instrument cluster, the BST shelf area will also accommodate a speedpass, radar detector, and/or satellite radio antenna.
