ZG-Bars

Comfort at last.  For 1987 and later Concours. These "bar backs" rotate the grips 2" closer to you. Handlebar risers (BST risers or other brands) are required to utilize these modified bars.  (Order C-02105 for your bars to be machined.)

Your bars are machined and returned to you in 1-2 business days after receipt in our shop.  The bars can be returned to the Factory position. Engraved covers are provided to cover the mounting bolt area at the base of the bars.

Please INSURE your bars when sending them to us, as new ones cost over $400.00/pair.

Try the ZG position for yourself

How to try the "ZG" Bars position for yourself.

Note:You must have BST, Lightning, GenMar or KB risers installed to do this test.

DO NOT RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE UNTIL YOUR BARS
ARE RETURNED TO THE ORIGINAL POSITIONS AND
ALL BOLTS ARE SECURED TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS.

1. Loosen the pinch bolt on each bar.

2. Remove the 2 bolts at the base of each bar that locate it on the triple tree.

3. Rotate your bars toward you (when seated on the bike), so that the bar's closest hole is located between the 2 holes in the riser. Snug up the pinch bolts.

This is the "ZG" bar position.

Fairing Pocket Knob

How many times have you wished you could get something out of a fairing pocket (ear plugs, tire gauge, side stand plate, windshield cleaner, etc.) without having to take your key out of the ignition switch first?  !#%&+!  Help is just a mouse click away.

If you can remove your lock from the compartment cover (the directions tell you how), and follow the included instructions, in a few minutes you will have easy access to your fairing pocket after installing the parts in this kit. This item sure isn't rocket science, but it is something you'll appreciate nearly every time you ride. Nothing to rust, as the hardware is stainless steel, per my usual practice.
